Hyatt Regency Irvine

I usually stay at another hotel down the street because it’s closer to my business meetings. However, after experiencing cleanliness issues during my recent visit there, I decided to return to the Hyatt Regency Irvine. This stay reminded me why it has always been my preferred choice. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by both the valet team and the front desk staff. Even though the hotel was hosting a conference, I still received an upgrade to a pool-view room for my one-night stay, which was a wonderful surprise. The room was beautifully decorated, creating a sense of serenity and calm. Everything was spotless and smelled fresh. I requested a robe and slippers while I was out at dinner, and they were already waiting in my room by the time I returned. Excellent customer service. The lobby is spacious with plenty of comfortable seating areas, making it an easy place to work or relax. The café and store also offer a nice selection of snacks and drinks, which adds to the convenience. Parking is on the higher side, but the secure gated structure and easy access to the hotel offer good peace of mind. Overall, a consistently great experience that reaffirms why the Hyatt Regency Irvine continues to be my top choice in the area.

I kind of didn't want to post this review because I love this hotel and don't want it filling up. Twice we have had to stay for soccer related reasons and it is like a resort. Everyone that works for the hotel have smiles and go out of the way to help and the rooms are so relaxing. Granted you are tucked into a business area but if you explore there are plenty of great places to eat and get coffee. The only issue I have is this constant need to charge for hotel parking and it's steep at this property : $40 a night.

The Hyatt Regency Irvine was a surprisingly beautiful stay that felt more like a resort than a typical city hotel. The pool and hot tub area were a highlight. It was spacious, relaxing, and full of resort vibes. Having the market and restaurant right on property was incredibly convenient and made grabbing food or drinks easy without leaving the hotel. The rooms were well-sized, comfortable, and everything felt relatively new and very well maintained. A nice bonus was the free water refill stations offering both still and sparkling water, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, this hotel exceeded expectations and made for a really enjoyable stay. Looking forward to our next stay.

My family stayed at the hotel for a few nights in the past couple years, and the experience has generally been great. However, I really want to make some clear comment and recommendation regarding the pool. I hope that the management read this review and take some actions. I have used the hotel pool numerous times over the past 2+ years. Earlier, the water was really heated and warm, but this has changed. The hotel still advertises that the pool is heated, but if the water temperature is set below 70...you cannot claim it heated. My honest expectation for heated pool is water temp at 76+. The hotel pool is located in windy area, and even in the summer months, it gets pretty chill outside the water. Cool water is definitely extra minus. I am not sure how much the hotel is saving by not really heating up the water. Unless the management's goal is to not to attract too many pool users, please make the water warm enough. thanks

The newly renovated Hyatt Regency Irvine exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which made the stay feel even more special. I used my points for this visit and it was absolutely worth it. As a member, I was able to request early check in and late check out, which made the experience even smoother. We stayed in a corner suite that came with two bathrooms stocked with high quality toiletries. The space was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The only downside was the pull out sofa bed, which was not the most comfortable, but everything else made up for it. There is a daily parking fee of 41 dollars, but overall the stay was amazing and I would definitely return. Great location!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. When we arrived, there was a large event happening in the lobby, so it was quite loud and hectic. Despite the busy atmosphere, Veronica at the front desk handled our check-in with such kindness and professionalism. She was calm, warm, and incredibly attentive. We were traveling with a young child, and although I didn’t think to request anything special, Veronica noticed and thoughtfully made sure we were comfortable for our stay. Her genuine care and attention truly stood out. The hotel itself is very clean, the facilities are well maintained, and our room was spacious and comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel. Thank you, Veronica, for making our visit so pleasant.

This hotel is perfection!. Everything is done well, from the front desk to lounge staff. Housekeeping are beyond words with the cleanest rooms. I spend over 100 nights a year in hotels worldwide and I always travel with Dettol/Lysol wipes...here they get bare minimal use, just not really needed. Thats huge!!!...especially in the USA. An actual renovation where they did not skimp on the small details, again, amazing . Just very well thought out rooms and service with great pricing and award redemption rates. The hotel is quiet and just feels a touch above regular Hyatt Regency offerings. I've stayed here around 5 times, and so I highly recommend it...and I always sleep very well at this hotel. It feels like a hospitality management company runs this property and that they are actually decent and care about their guests and staff. Well done!

We had a great stay at Hyatt Regency Irvine and want to thank Veronica N at the front desk. She was kind and thoughtful, offering helpful tips like reserving breakfast early on busy Sundays. When she learned we were celebrating our child’s birthday, she surprised us with a small cake, which made our stay extra special. The room felt very new, the Club lounge food was delicious, and the pool was very friendly for our 5-year-old. The housekeeping staff on the 5th floor were also very warm and welcoming. Those will bring us back next time we visit LA.
